East Coast Park

The children's ministry had an outing at east coast park today..
Haha... it was so fun, i played soccer with a couple of peepz, then borrow a bike from a friend and started riding around the place..
I must admit though that the weather was super hot... i was sweating like crazy..
And there were so much food.. haha.. abby ate more than me!!!.. unbelievable..
And audrey wore sunglasses when she was riding the bike.. *ShAkEs HeAd At ThE aCt CoOl GiRl*
anyway.. that was basically my day.. yeps.. i dun think i'm going for festival of praise though.. dun wanna risk asking my parents and getting a "no" for an answer.. i must as well dun ask right? dun care la, i will just skip this concert...

No one could go to sonic fest in da moring today... only my bestie could go.. so he accompanied me.. YaYz.. Thanks Daniel!!!

Well we didn't get to see much because it started raining.. we met tim.. who was super funny larhs.. he kept eating up the food in the stall.. saying he had soemthing against his boss.. lolx.. caught a few bands n dancing gropus who were not bad..

Then we went bedok to find abby... we went the wrong place, partially due to the fact that she gave wrong info.. lolx.. finally found valley 8... met fang xiang n eileen for da first time.. the house was full, so we played cs.. the com mouse seriously sucks la!!!! oh n jansen was saying several unkind stuff n was muttering all the way how he stun fx with his jump ball.. haha...

Went back for camp echo.. the video n food was great!! could not go back to sonic fest.. mum didn't allow.. haix...

I bought a shirt from sonicfest.. it was real cool with a signboard at the front saying one way --->heaven.. haha.. its black in colour =P..

This line is to thanks Christopher Raj personally for the 100% attendence he gave all of us so that so may of us could become staff sergent... haha.. i will treat u to something.. but dun go on believing this will drag me to MJC ah.. haha..

We wasted one period in the hall with Mr Ee Po Lam explaining the stuff about english o'level oral.. haix... mine is one the 18th of august...

Well, kim yip's card deck got confiscated by Mdm Teo today... lolx... at least it lasted 2 weeks or so.. well anyway, we have so may decks to spare.. we will be back!! haha..

Well, one week of studying have gone pass... well... getting in the mood for study.. finally... the wheels of reading are turning again after 4 years of idling.. ah well.. hope i can carry on this way...

ROD (run out day)

Finally!!! i'm officially free from my CCA!!! after 4 hard years of going through all kind of crap with all my fellow squad mates.. it's finally over... YaYz!!

I must admit, the sec3 planning were quite good... the gifts were quite nice too.. i was some wrist cloth band from adidas.. my.. it must have cost a significant amount... well anyway some of the NCO's got emotional over this rod thing.. not surprising after what all of us had gone through together... haix.. miss all those fun filled days..

We had master parade.. the last we will ever had... and then we all cheered together... the food prepared for us was great.. i must really thank the sec3's for doing this.. but one thing i can't get over... its that wei lei becomes the sec three in charge!!! how in the world can that be!!! it's like they confirm cannot get gold unit next year larh!!!

To all my sec 4 cca mates: Thanks for all these years together.. i will cherish all the times we had together.. i'll miss this school.. but i will never forget you... the times we had together is priceless.. the things we've gone through these four years is what we may never experience in these four years... and as we sit for our o'levels this year... i just wanna wish u all all the best... and hope that one day our paths may meet again..

Oh and btw, i have been promoted to staff sergent... something which non of us expect.. cuz we were like suppose to have first class badge... but in the end dunno y... but i thank God for this!!! That confirms and a1 for my cca points...

School matters: Saw jake in school today, gave him my sonicfest ticket cuz i'm not going tomorrow.. since he didn't have a ticket... i gave him mine so that he could go.. haha.. i'm kind right.. lolx... played bridge as usual during maths... haha... the maths lesson nowadays are so slack larh....

What this cca has given me in four years is what i may never learn in a lifetime... if i ever had the chance to choose again.. npcc will always be my first choice... this 4 years bonded us close together.. like brothers.. we are inseperatable... we go thru all things together... suffer together.. enjoy together.. forever brothers... one for all, all for one...

Today we had english mock exam after school.. the paper 1 was during school hours and the paper 2 was after school... it was crap la.. i write till my hand ache.. last minute i though of a very nice plot for my compo and i rushed to finish it in like 15 mins!!! haha...

I hope they dun give back and ask us to peer mark again.. then its like whats the point la!! must as well dun do right!!! we do mock it because we want to see our grades... not let our friends mark and then we can't really see how well we did!! ai ya, anway its so boring mugging everyday... but for the sake of prelims... haix... oh well... i have to do it...

The world is truly a boring place. Or is it just a test, he asks himself... he stares at his book.. not again he thought... sleepness overcomes him as he battles a losing battle with sleep.. he nods off... only to be jotted awake by the teacher... He picks up his back and got home.. yet another day... or so he thinks... watching the tv, he drones on... staring at the screen before him.. he sees only moving objects.. whats the world coming to.. he thinks... why? he ask himself out of no where..

Alrights... i admit... i didn't really do much studying today... but i did more work than yesterday... so i sort of balanced the equation... i did emaths papers... a few questions here and there... chem teacher was absent.. so physics/form teacher took over and she was like just walking around clarifying questions everybody had...

Well, then it was PE... a few of us stayed in class.. thouse not going PE... cheng xing faked illness... haha.. actually i think Mr Siow knew he was lying.. but gave chance since he saw cheng xing wanting to study.. well anyway 4 of urs went back to class.. i found basil's ipod and was doing corrections.. jordan was doing aamths.. cheng xing chemistry... willis.. i dunno.. but i saw him sleeping ltr on.. haha..

Oh... i am going to kill myself for this.. i played bridge.. then i got this nice cards of ace, king, queen, jack of hearts and diamonds... amazingly no one could wash.. haha.. so well... i bidded 4 no trump... and could have won.. i threw down 8 cards at once.. no one could believe their eyes... damn!!! i should have throw down the 7 diamonds i had... no one else had diamonds!! damn!!! curses~~

He sits in his class, he tries to study. However hard he tries, he is constantly being distracted. If it's not the people around him, it's someone he keep thinking about. There's not much time. Nor will anyone be able to tell what the future might be. The exams are near. He can feel stress as if its just behind him, breathing down his neck. He turn to the people around him, but no one is around, no one near him, no one bothers to help. He fades and became fader by the moment, till he no longer seem to be there in the crowd, till not even a single person cares about him...

Day 1 of serious study.. haha.. i had lessons till 2.05pm slack till about 2.45pm.. then Mrs Lee had remedial for those geog students who failed their paper 2... haix.. i was one of them... i amost pass leh.. just by a few marks more... well anyway, guess i needed it... curse myself for not studying hard for mid-years... haha... well.. have to start mugging now.. after remedial no mood to do so already.. so i could only sit there...

Then i got bored... so i called abby... we had a nice time talking... i was talking to jansen too... who was studying with her... then Cheng Xing so funnie... come and disturb me... so i grabbed his phone and ran out of class... haha.. then i lazy to run.. so i just gave him back his phone and warned him bout' disturbing me futher haha..... Well, we chatted for an hour or so.. talking loads of crap... then passed the phone to chris... who as usual talked a whole lot more of crap... then we talked bout' sochenda... and jun yu was swearing all the way... haha... jun yu ah jun yu.....

oh ya, before i forgot.. i played bridge in school and won the bid 5 hearts and won the game!!! Thats basically cuz i had 8 heart cards.. i'm good!!!

I got nothing much to post about today so i shall just post about school... The school has gone bonkers.. maybe not very much.. but taking away our national day celebrations and the school's cross country day is a bit the too much dun you think? Just because our batch screwed up this mid-yr doesn't mean we will screw up prelims!!! Much less the o's!!!

Getting serious about study already... less play for me from tomorrow onwards... and i'm going to stay back quite often in school to study with my dear friends... SARS had changed name... the propose name is SASMA.... haha.. will confirm it tomorrow...

Btw, if any of u are experiencing lag because of the class pic below... plz tag on my board.. i will remove it... but actually is always only chris complaining.. but oh well.. i'm not risking a lag blog.. haha...

VS 129th speech Day

Its basically a boring affair with loads of prize presentations.. the more interesting part was only the beginning and the end.. all of my classmates were all turning on their bluetooth and they were all sending crapz to one another...

Then at the end there were concert performance by all the cultural groups... so yarh... thats basically it... wasted my time from 1pm - 6pm....

Basil bought himself a new u2 ipod... i'm like so jealous.. haha... my mum say if i get a1 for my MT o's she would buy me one... thats like i have to wait 2 weeks more!!! wa kao... and i dun think i can get an a1!!!!

This is seriously getting freeky... this morning the principal met all the sec4s and he presented us with a schedule which shows us that we have 6 weeks to prelims.. and another 6 weeks to o'lvl after that.. my goodness... we will not have national day celebrations.. grr... nor will we attend the annual cross country thing...

And they put our prelims in the middle of the september holidays!!!! That means no holidays for us at all... *aRgH*.... then the VP came up and encouraged all of us to study in school... he says there is less distraction and more discipline when we study in school... then to my surprise... so many of my classmates stayed back today.. think about 8 of them... wow... the VP seriously is getting somewhere.. every since our batch flunk the whole mid yr... the teachers are getting frantic...

But seriously, i need an mp3 player in order to study... what i need is music... so i can concentrate.. i hope my MT get an a1 so my mum will get me one =P.. so promised me one if i get an a1... haha... i think i'll start studying in school already... at home i tend to get distracted by all the stuff around... as the VP states... or maybe i go church to study... or the library... or dunno what.. haix...

Today is one to be happy about... firstly is because we get to confirm our overall marks... and i found out that because of my CA marks, my overall grades have been pulled up a lot... especially my amaths...

Here are the revised grades:

English - B3
Mt - C5

CME - B (i think is because i handed it up very late =P)

Judgement Day(Yesterday)

Erm, as probably expected... most of the people in our class screwed up this mid-years... this was due to us not caring bout' it till probably he last week of the june holidays... well anyway i wasn't really surprise with my results... with a bunch of c's... no a's 2 b's... haix... this is in fact craziness.... now everyone is calculating their L1R5 and deciding what they'll get for their prelims and o'levels.... i hope that i will do well for my mt though... that will really give all of us a confidence booster....

Today was super slack as usual larhs... chemistry was fun in the practical lab with titration and QA again.... then we played floorball... we won 6-5... haha... and the soccer peeps from the other side keep hitting the ball over... grr..... hit kim yip and the bunch of peeps still laughing... so evil......

Anway after recess we had emaths, slack time!! We got so bored we started playing bingo... haha... 5 people playing 25 numbers... like so fast win liao >.<... then mt lesson was nothing cuz our o's were over... haha... so we did nothing but talk here, chit-chat there..

Now that most of the topics for all subjects are almost completed.. life seems so slack, yet hidden behind this is the stress that's building up to that one dreaded day...the start of prelims...

Since the 1st of July, my dad has been cutting out the letters hidden in the Straits Times to try to win the mazda 6 that was the grand prize in this draw... and he dragged me along in this... well... he forced me to cut out n collect all the letters for him... so yarh... yesterday we finished collecting the 35 letters over 16 days...

Today he woke up bright n early... which is totally RARE... haha... and becuase we solved the puzzle the night before... today's helping words wasn't a help or something... haha.. so after pasting all the letters on the huge puzzle.. we left.. my dad, mum n i...

Before we reach east coast, we could tell there was already going to be a jam.. there were so many cars on the marine parade flyover... and we got stuck in the traffic for like 1/2 an hours before finally cutting out into ECP... we decided to head to Marine Cresent for breakfast..

I had porridge.. then we walked through the underpass to Macdonalds..... OMg... the atmosphere was crazy man!!!! the area was pack with tousands of ppl!!! And we had to squeeze all the way to the front to slot the entry puzzle in... then the ST school of rock ppl were all there performing...

Well, my mum went home cuz she hated the atmosphere... my dad and i had 1 hr to waste.. so we headed to a clubhouse to play pool... and i must say i got trashed by my dad >.<.... haha... i lost to him in the 5 games that we played... but i managed to put in some balls... which thankfully made me lose only by 2 balls...

Haha, then we headed back to the area... where they announced the prizes... there were 10 consolation prizes of $160... which we obviously didn't win... and the car... which we also obviously didn't win..... haha.. common lor... thousands of ppl, hundreds of puzzles.... how to win???

OKay, so finally everything bout' Mother Toungue is OVER.....

Had the o'lvl listening today.. the last of all my mt segment..

It was played, of all music stations.... on symphony 92.4..... darn.... we had to wait 20mins for the thing to start... and the stupid music make me wanna sleep.. i almost slept if not for the teacher waking us up 5 mins before the thing start...

Well, it was quite alright... i'm feeling quite good about it... haha.. hope it pulls up my overall grade man..

Now its bridge mania, no longer floorball... waiting for it to be revived....

Actually no exams also very boring... back to all the old boring lessons of school... back to 2.05pm dismissal... no more coming home early... no more breakfast at fast food chains or the hawkers centres... and one more thing... time to fear the return of the results..

Today was the first day of normal lessons after exams... so sad lorh.. we didn't even get marking day or something.. well, anyway... we didn't do anything during mt lesson today although we'll be having listening comprehesion tomorrow... haix... so boring... then during english lesson half the class was falling asleep as usual...

Woohoo... after 2Weeks of exams... ITS FINALLY OVER!!!! Yayz!!!

Haha, i am currently at home on the com.. so bored lor.. suppose to go with the others for movie but my mum dun allow... so sad...

Today i took my last paper.. which is geog core paper 1... 40mcqs and we were done... dismissed at 9am... so early.. go school for 1 hr only >.<

Sunday again... marks the end of another week and the beginning of another new week tomorrow... Finally, the last two papers... haha... we have waited long for this week haven't we... dunno if we going to watch movie on tuesday.. but we shall see how..

In church was basically doing nothing.. was sitting backstage playing bridge with a couple of peepz... haha... backstage gambling.. no la.. never play money... we are good people.. *WiNkS*... and a few guys were drumming frontstage... so noisy... and the aircon backstage was freezing... couldn't even deal out the cards correctly...

Haha, chris have gotten himself onto blogger finally with a tagboard so people can TAG... haha...

Another week... actually once the exams end we will have normal lessons again.. the the floorball mania is going to start again.. heehee...

Oh yeah, today we had geog core paper... It was full of crap lah... haha... then poor wei jie lost 38 marks when he handed up the paper.. he always never completes his long essays... hmm... think we should help him to write faster.. but at least he's faster than rajan..

Several things to rmb when going for a geog paper(some quoted from hong zhou blog):

1. Never go unprepared.. if u know u are going to fail.. never read in the morning.. u will sure fail.. it erases any thin that u have learned the day before... although this happened to me only on a minor scale.. i think i can cuase harmful damage to the marks..

2. Ink runs out fast!! Especially ink pens.. halp my pen ink was emptied out by the time i've finished writing.. its like stupied la...geog is the one where we learn to conserve the environment.. but we are wasting all our resources.. paper, ink, strength..

3. If u have a glove, rmb to bring one.. and put a cooling system inside... or ur hand would be burning red by the time the paper ends...

Annyway, after the geog paper we had a fun time at bedok hawker centre eating.. wow, we managed to convince everyone to eat at the hawker centre.. cool... we had about 12 people...

We ate at bk yesterday.. a few of us occupied like 10 chairs.. lolx... and the service was way slow.. okay la not that bad, but slower than mac... Anyway we had to wait for our "star pototoes"... terry should have told the aunty 5... instead of 4.. lolx.. then we would get 1 free packet.. haha.. dishonesty huh.. just kidding...

Yesterday

Yesterday was frontliners 7th anniversary... woot... we had loads of fun...
It started out with dinner.. the dinner for the youths was just pathetic.. so my and jansen went to the worship retreat section.. a.k.a adults buffect section.. to steal the food.. they had friend rice, fried chicken and even salmon!!! And the youth had what.. nuts with bee hoon.. never seen that before in my life... and some steam chicken and a few nice tibits... actaully it would be prefect if we could combine the two buffect sections together... and some nasty ppl were trying to steal my good food... heehee... then tim wanted to keep going to bash louis up.. That louis was simply anti-social lor... jansen went up to him and say hi.. guess what he say.. "F*** off, i dunnit u to be my friend"... wow.. thats like... i dunno what to say larhs...

Well anyway we the went up to ROL where we had to fill in a survey form.. all craps... deb circled an entire column.. save all the trouble... haha... Then we had worship.. altogether we had bout 17 songs i think.. i sang till i got a sore throat... and tim was going crazy next to me... lolx...
All the time he was muttering bout how he was going to get louis.... haha.. he drank too much fruit punch and became high i guess...

The testimonial by both the people from china's team and cambodia's were like so touching la... i wanted to cry also... some were crying while giving their testimonials... so touching...

Then we had a birthday cake... woot, i only ate 1... abby and deb ate 3!!!! omg, greedy people..
haha...

Today
we had church, there was no FL today.. and everyone were saying yesterday that they were going for 8.30am service... end up everyone went for the 10.30am one... lol.. couldn't wake up.. tim slept until 10am.. and had to take a cab down.. LOL...

We had holy communion.. then they all went to play pool after lunch!!! i wanted to join them but my parents had other ideas... LOLx.... so oh well.. can only wait for next time.. Tmr is youth day!! YaY.. dunnit to go school!!!

Yesterday we had the whole physics paper...
paper 1 was like some invitation to expect an easier paper 2...
Everyone was like saying it was managable...
Then came paper 2.. U should have seen the change in everyone's faces...
Omg, it was a killer...
I think i will fail terribly, its like so bad la...

Then today we had amaths paper1..
it was so predictable how it was going to be like...
So super difficult...
No la, actually not... just the steps were complicated..
then a lot of working
End up loads of careless mistakes..
Only those smart ppl didn't blunder...
Die la die la!!...

Oh, and not forgetting to mention i went with chris, terry, hong zhou, johnnie and jun yu to mac..
The girl at the counter charged me so much less for a meal that should have cost bout' 1 dollar more.. haha, everyone was so angry, then kept declaring tt indian girl fancied me.. wot nonsense... ohh!! and johnnie was disgustingly dipping his finger into the barbecue, curry sauces and licking it.. *yUcKs*
