Thanks for all the gifts and cards people! :)


anyway yup, morning was church service and the sanctuary was simple packed to the brim! i sat with mummy and mei at the back as we did on sunday. then dan & deb came to join us, again. LoL. so it was basically the same scene on the last pew.


anyway, heearing Mrs Magaret Ling's testimony was touching. as she shared her personal testimony about her and her son i was strucked by how much similarities it bored to my life. God has his ways of speaking to me :)


then headed to bedok interchange for lunch, went home slack slack before heading to airport to get dad. he had gone away on holiday with his company to taiwan and he was coming back that night :)


at the airort, we went to makan first then waited for dad. i kept looking at thr screen which showed his plane witht eh lnading time confirmed. the stupid landing time keep changing till finally it showed LANDED. 5 seconds later dad msged mum and said, "i've landed". hmm, shows the system is quite updated after all.


dad's super funny, he called me then he went, "uhhh, josh, what's my belt number ah?" LOL. then finally he got his luggage and stuff he realised his luggage has been locked by some lock which he has never seen before. he thought it belonged to the airport staff, but it did not. haha, the lock looked high class type, but it was picked easily using my sis's hairpin. ai yo.


dad bought a whole lot of food back, he even bought me a new billabong bag! :) woohoo, what a perfect christmas, a whole family together. then came back i got a msg from my downstairs neighbour xue heng, said he got something for me. so i went outside and he handed me a smallgift. seriously i never in a million years would think he would get me a gift! we ain't close or anything!


but God works in mysterious ways and he told me he was a new believer, i thank God for him. he atteded some Hear of God church in Douby Ghaut. haha, so super far. same church as Merieth and some MJ ppl. yupp, hope to get to know him better as time goes by.

OMG, my house rubbish chute fell out. Like TOTALLY. LoL. actually it has already fallen out a long time ago, but we weren't really botheing about it till Dad bought glue today. So ya i had to chilsel away the old hardened glue. EEK, the stench. better still, the pesticides brotherhood came, and WOOHOO the house rocks the smell!! LoL.


oh, i was just thinking about the song that the two malay guys sang at the Kelong, i went to search my music files and found it. so ishall put it up on my blog for a few days :)

oh and i just updated my internet browser to Internet Explorer 7 i think.. the interface is so nice. the graphics look nicer, although i don't know how. all blogs appear clearer and stuff! hahaha..


and i heard this song on Soundtrack channel. from the movie Men Of Honour and i think it's way nice..


oh Monday was suppose to have training. end up only me and weehian there. they never inform us!!! then we ended up playing pool and bowling games. yupp. then wednesday training as usual. now have training 3 times a week. totally rush. competition is early next year i think :). i hope i can get into first team. although my bowling is so lousy =X

i'm finally back from VBC! it's such a wonderful camp. and i'm thankful for all the people God placed in my group. 40 kids, 8 advisors, simply not an easy task to handle those people. but then again some of the kids are really cute. haha. the pastor rocks too. he's really a pastor fit to teach kids. =)


all along i didn't know what kind of pastors i like. but i really like the one that came to VBC this year. guess that's cause he uses visual, which is the kind of thing that i can understand and not get bored at the same time. his messages are short but touching, his testimonies an inspiration. Thank you Reverent Nicholas Choo.


that's two camps in church within 2 weeks. totally exhausted but i got some CS training online later. really tired argh but some things cannot be helped. i'm already starting to miss the kids. but yarh guess i won't be going to senior youth camp.


19 non-believers, 9 received Christ on the first day. :*) God works mircales, i truly believed so. one thing that touched me the most was the testimonies just now. cause it was the last day of camp so the kids were given opportunities to share what they feel about the camp. slowly, kid by kid went up.. no prompting.. just on their own accord.. the things they shared "the camp was fun", "God was here".. simple but yet ever so meaningful.


another thing was at the debrief after camp. Aunty Christina shared something that one girl told her. the girl said, "i wish the camp was longer.".. when asked why.. her reply was, "I want to be with God longer." that was one of the most moving thing i ever heard.

some of my free time in camp i thought of this
and i felt that i should just leave it to God
