Had math paper today, and forget it lah i shall depend on my paper 2 to pass. Maybe i even need to get full marks just to pass. Hahaha. But as the Mind Game Society President said, "i would not let one blunder paper bring my mood down for the rest of the papers, in fact, i shall study even harder so as to tell myself i've done my best." Great advice indeed.

In a few minutes a computer can make a mistake so great that it would have taken many men many months to equal it.

Last day of holidays! Today i had fun helping out in the CM outing to Pasir Ris beach. One whole doom week coming up! But then yesterday i was watching Princess Diaries for the 3rd time i think. But this time what her father wrote to her and kept in a diary present for her 16th birthday spoke really loudly to me.

I couldn't remember the whole thing, but it started something like "courage is not the absense of fear...." then it went something along the line that courage is the determination to complete something u have to. Plus yesterday was celebrating Johnnie's birthday with him and Kian Sin, then DuaBao was saying like "in the end we're studying for A's, so don't stress too much by thinking too much about midyears, don't let it affect you too much and just treat it as another test along the way" Wahaha, encouragement indeed.

I always believe things happen for a reason, and especially sad events, they happen for a stronger reason. Many a times i try to put myself in the shoes of others and try to feel how they feel, and then it hits me that one day i would be the one up there doing the same thing. When that time comes, how am i going to remember the ones i love? By what, how, which loving memories?

Cherish your love ones while they are there, for it would be too late when they are gone..

In the Midst of the Mist, There Is Joy
When there are trials, troubles, tumult, or thunder;
When calamities, collisions and clouds arrive
That may darken the way you are walking today,
Take joy, for Christ is alive.

When you think you cannot take one more step forward,
When pain, and weakness and sickness prevail,
You may not have the words to cry out to the Master;
Do not despair; He is already there.

If the mist is so thick that you cannot see through it,
And the darkness is closing in fast,
And you can’t even see your own hands out before you,
Our Savior is present long after it’s past.

Do you think there are trials that no one has faced?
Do you think no one knows how you feel?
Do you think your temptations are oh, so unique?

Think again; Jesus Christ knows so well.
Are you thinking that suffering can just bring despair?
Do you think there is no one who cares?
Are you certain afflictions will not end for you?
Think again; Christ the healer is there.

In the midst of the mist, there is joy everlasting;
Pure joy that the world may not know.
In all of your trials, our Lord went before you,
And through them He’s helping you grow.

In the midst of the downpours and thunderous storms
He is walking beside you to show
That in your weakness He is your strength.
Let Him guide you wherever you go.

So when you are weary and longing to quit,
Remember that He sees the start and the end;
He loves you, and holds you and leads you along
And gives joy for the journey, my friend.

Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.

Finally back from Genting Highlands. Loads of changes to that place, yet there are things that remain the same. A "break" from studies but now am back. SIAN. The only really eventful thing was that we thought we lost our toll ticket when we reached the Johor plaza toll, heng it had dropped on the driver's door holder below the seat. LOL.

Today i had a crazy experience. While i was walking over to the industrial park's food centre across the road to get lunch, i had sought of a "close shave". Just as i was about to enter the food centre, a falling tile about *10 by 10 cm came crashing down. Amazingly i was less than 2 cars away.. What's more amazing is that it landed right between 2 parked cars, not touching either one. Divine intervention? Thank God for keeping my life. =)

Anyway in the afternoon went to play soccer wth 4H people. We played against DHS people. Or rather, ex-dhs people. Stupid Nick, organise then didn't show up. But in the end we had about ten poeple, most of whom arrive late. Trust VS guys to be always late, the DHS had 8 people we had only 3 present. LOL. It was a good match, fought 2-0 down to win 3-2. The dhs timer funny sia, keep saying last ball last ball. Then 5 last balls later they scored a goal to "equalise" 3-3. Nvm, officially we won.

Hanged around the place to drink and rest then headed home with Johnnie. He was telling me stories of his parents history, how they met, how he lived in Brunei then moved here. A whole lot of history lah, interesting seh. LOL..

First week of holidays have past, man how time flies. ARGH.

Haven't been doing much these few days. Basically just stoning at home keeping myself occupied with studies.

Let's see, wed went swimming. Thursday Vesak day got chlli crap to eat. Friday stuck home and watched American Pie II. Somehow i discovered i had the VCD at home, so since never watched it before, just watch lor. Simply crazy college life movie. LOL.

Then today was another slack day at home. I want to go PC show but then again i doubt i have the funds to buy anything so forget it. Watched School of Rock for the first time ever. Like such a wonderful old movie but i just watched it today. Nice.. It totally ROCKS.
